Cybernet Medical has developed technology that provides for in-home monitoring and health management of chronic disease patients. Our currently available products are intended for use with blood pressure and weight scale measurements, which can provide valuable feedback on the health status of congestive heart failure (CHF) patients and/or hypertensive patients. We are also working on an expansion of these products to include use for management of asthma, diabetes, and/or other chronic conditions.

Our current disease management products include:

1. An interface device for collection and transfer of data from the weight scale and blood pressure unit (called the MedStar)
2. A Web-based disease management system *

These products are currently available for sale.

This technology allows for patients to take regular measurements at home that get collected and transferred (via standard phone line) to a data collection system. A web-based data management system is also available which allows the care-giver and/or disease management service to monitor patient data, and report status to physicians, through an easy to use web interface.

This methodology is a significant improvement over current techniques that require patients to keep written logs of measurements. These written logs are subject to errors or missing data, and are only reviewed by a healthcare worker during routine checkups. The benefits of our methodology include:
