  Using Internet Explorer

To protect patient data from unathorized users, this service uses the highest security possible for secure transactions.

Maintaining that security over the Web requires that your browser be capable of processing 128 bit encryption (used to encode data transmitted across the internet).  The default browser that comes with Windows 98 only has 40 bit encryption so it must be upgraded before it can be used to access the Cybernet Medical Service.

If you receive a message that the Login page was unable to be viewed your current browser probably doesn't support the 128 bit encryption required by Cybernet's SSL protocol.

To update to the latest version of Internet Explorer available, please click the following link:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/default.htm
and follow the installation instructions.

It will prompt you to a screen that'll point you to download the appropriate service patch.

To verify the maximum encryption that your brower supports click on Help menu and the About Internet Explorer link.  A window will pop up. Note the Cipher Strength listed (directly under the version number).  This is the maximum security encryption that you're system will allow, in it's current configuration.
