Cybernet Medical President

Cybernet is pleased to provide our award-winning medical monitoring products to you. Here, you will find familiar products, as well as some new ones.

Did you know that the MedStar System has extensive support for wound care image reporting and cardiac event monitoring analysis? Have you seen our portable emergency response Orion, or our multiple patient public kiosks?

Our dedicated research and development engineers are continually upgrading the entire MedStar System to meet your evolving needs.

Sheldon “Shelly” Prial, consultant, reports, “The MedStar is a simple and inexpensive system, which I see as the perfect solution for any VNA, HHA, or anyone who does patient monitoring. This is the future of our industry.”

For CHF, Diabetes, COPD, Hypertension, Obesity, Asthma, and other chronic illnesses, I know you will not find a better system than the MedStar.

- Charles J. Jacobus, Ph.D., President, Cybernet Medical

Cybernet Medical Corporation is a division of the research and development parent company Cybernet Systems Corporation of Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Our MedStar products evolved from research projects funded by NASA, National Institutes of Health, U.S. Army Research Laboratory, and Advanced Research Projects Agency (ARPA). These projects focused on the physiological assessment of subjects (including astronauts and soldiers), human performance evaluation, and human-computer interaction.

Through this work we developed and patented, state-of-the-art software, hardware, and distributed networking systems for the measurement, analysis, and transfer of physiological and other related data.

MedStar products bring the electronics patient record facilities, web-based patient management, and cost effective phone-based data collection units you need to quantitatively manage your home-bound and chronically ill patient populations.

MedStar supports remote measurement of the physiological parameters necessary for diagnosis and management of:

  • Weight
  • Blood Pressure
  • Pulse Rate
  • Temperature
  • Pulse Oximetry
  • Blood Glucose
  • Peak Flow
  • Lung Volume

Other measured parameters are being added continuously -- check or specify your requirements.

Manage your own patient population using your own health professional supported by our web-based information systems and data collection devices or let us set up a system owned and operated by you.
