Cybernet
Medical to Showcase MedStar System's Ease-of-Use and Interoperability
at the Disease Management Congress
Annual
Forum Provides Backdrop for Demonstrating Industry's First Cost-Effective
Patient Monitoring Program
Ann
Arbor, MI. - October 16, 2001 -
Cybernet Medical, a leading developer of biometric monitoring technology
and medical devices for the disease management industry, will demonstrate
the interoperability and ease-of-use of its MedStar disease
management system in Booth 410 at the Disease Management Congress
and Exposition, to be held October 22nd - 24th in Boston. This interactive
demonstration will provide attendees with the hands-on experience
of collecting their physiological data and transferring it via MedStar
(and a standard telephone line) to a database management system.
The
MedStar system is interoperable with any disease management company's
database management system. Because each MedStar device is just
$250 through Cybernet Medical, a complete at-home patient monitoring
program for chronic diseases can be configured and installed within
a company's existing network, minimizing capital expenditure and
maximizing return-on-investment.
