1.
Cybernet Medical at ATA 2005
Cybernet
Medical will be displaying our MedStar Product line
at the American Telemedicine Association 2005 trade
show at
the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, Colorado
from
April 17th-20th. Going to be in the area? Come visit
us at
Booth #626!
2.
Coming Soon: IVR
At
the beginning of April 2005, Cybernet Medical will
be
releasing our 1st quarter website update. Within this
update will be an exciting new feature, Interactive
Voice
Response (IVR). The new IVR feature will allow providers
and staff users to assign questions to a patient, who
can
then call a designated phone number and answer the
designated question set.
Answers
to these questions are then placed into the
patient's record. In this manner, you will be able
to get
more subjective types of data from your patients,
as opposed
to only biometric data. From the patient's procedure
page
you can customize the IVR question set that will
be read to
any given patient.
3.
Coming Soon: Wound Care Support
Also
included in the 1st quarter update will be the
capability to do wound care from within the website.
A
specially designated procedure for wound care will
be
available, giving you the capability to insert wound
images
into the patient record from your remote internet browser,
and then add additional information and comments describing
the current state of the wound.
4.
Tracking Patient Insurance
Did
you know that you can keep better track of your patient
insurance information by using the "Add Insurance" and "View
Patient Insurance" pages? The "Add Insurance" page
allows
the administrator to control which insurance companies
can be
assigned to a patient and allows entry and modification
of
accepted insurance companies within the system.
You
can access this page by logging in as an administrator
(manager) and clicking on the "Tasks" button.
Then click on
the link "Insurance Companies" in the "Add" section.
Once
the insurance information has been added it will be
available
to you when assigning an insurance company to a new
patient.
The "View
Patient Insurance" page can be accessed from
the "Patient Profile" page.
The top part of the page allows you
to add new insurance carrier information and the second
part
of the page is a list of all the insurance carriers
already
associated with the patient.
5. Let's Hear From You!
