NATIONAL
HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE EDUCATION PROGRAM
The
National High Blood Pressure Education Program (NHBPEP),
established in 1972, is a cooperative effort among professional
and voluntary health agencies, State health departments, and
many community groups. The NHBPEP is administered and coordinated
by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI). The
goal of the NHBPEP is to reduce death and disability related to
high blood pressure through programs of professional, patient,
and public education.

UPDATE: IVR ADDITIONS
We
have recently updated the website's Interactive Voice Response
system to allow patients to add data readings directly into their
electronic medical record.
Now, when a question set includes the ability to enter data,
the
patient needs only to use the telephone keypad to enter their
last
reading, and upon confirmation of the entry the new value will
be
stored in their patient record.

UPDATE: ADMINISTRATIVE REPORT UPDATES
Also
recently added to the website are updates to some of the
administrative accessible reports. These can be accessed via
the PENDING TASKS page of any administrative user -- simply
select the TASKS link from the main menu. These and other
reports are listed under the MISCELLANEOUS section of the page.
Two new reports (Out of Limit and Out of Compliance) have been
created to help give you an overall look at how your patients
are doing overall, and how they are using the system.
