3. Lifescan Ultra Blood Glucose Meter

Our MedStar system supports and endorses the Lifescan line of blood glucose meters, and now we would like to announce our support of the new Lifescan Ultra meter! The Lifescan Ultra meter needs less blood, allows patients to test on their arm, reports results faster, and is generally much easier for patients to use.

4. Manager Device Search Page

In our continuing effort to improve the Cybernet Medical Internet Medical Database Website, we have recently added a new device search capability to the manager's tasks page. Find this at:

This new capability allows you to enter the serial number of a device and search the database for it. The search will return any device in the system that matches the desired serial number (dashes and spaces are important), and display the type of device along with its current location.

If you are authorized to view the device history, a link will be available to for this on the returned search results. This functionality makes it easier to quickly return devices that are no longer in the field -- just move the device from a patient or provider directly to your system pool or return the device to the provider without having to go them if you're not sure who currently has the device.
