HOLIDAY HOURS

Independence Day is this month, and like most offices in the U.S., Cybernet Medical will be closed on Friday, July 4th in recognition of the holiday. Online help will be available, and our technical support number will still be accepting messages, but any support requests made on the 4th may not be responded to until support reopens on Monday, July 7th.

CYBERNET MEDICAL TRIAL FOR MICHIGAN-BASED COMPANIES

As part of our ongoing efforts in Cybernet Medical's home state of Michigan, we are seeking new partners to participate in a MedStar Unit trial program. Chosen partners can get up to five MedStar unit kits and accessories free for 90 days, with standard monitoring costs waived.

CYBERNET MEDICAL KIOSKS ELIGIBLE FOR REIMBURSEMENT

Recently, some states have begun classifying patient usage of units like Cybernet Medical's Mobile Kiosk Unit as office visits or E/M service visits for purposes of billing, provided that a Doctor or Nurse Practitioner administers the process. They even have their own CMS codes that can be billed directly to CMS:

  • Spirometry: 94010 & 94240 (Medicine Evaluation and Management Services)
  • Pulse Oximetry: 94760, 94761 & 94762 (Medicine Evaluation and Management Services)
  • Glucose: 82962 (Lab Services)
  • Prothrombin Time (PT/INR): 99211 (Services that would serve to demonstrate that evaluation and management were performed, including evaluation of significant new symptoms -- such as excessive bruising or hemorrhage)
