HOLIDAY HOURS
While Independence Day falls on a weekend this year, Cybernet
Medical's staff still gets to enjoy a vacation day in recognition
of it. As such, Cybernet Medical's offices will be closed on
Friday, July 3rd for the holiday.
Online help will remain available as usual, and our technical
support number will still accept support messages, but any support
requests made that day may not be responded to until after we
reopen and resume our normal business hours on Monday, July 6th.
Thanks for your patience, and enjoy the holiday!
CYBERNET MEDICAL AND WAYNE STATE UNIVERSITY STRENGTHEN TIES
Cybernet Medical is happy to announce the nomination of Cybernet
Medical Product Manager Damon Green to the Wayne State University
School of Nursing Board of Members. This appointment strengthens
the relationship between Cybernet Medical and Wayne State
University, as they together strive to provide future Nurses and
Doctors the advantage new technology access and tele-health
training as part of their curriculum. Congratulations, Damon!
NEW CYBERNET MEDICAL FINANCING OPTIONS
The American Recovery & Reinvestment Act appropriates $19.2 billion
dollars to encourage the adoption of electronic health records as
part of its incentives for health IT adoption. The packages
offered are sufficient to completely pay for conversion to
electronic medical record systems in many cases.
However, since most of the payout incentives require existing use
of such systems, there is still a need to invest up front to take
advantage of the program -- and this presents a difficulty to many
organizations in the current economy. To help solve this problem,
Cybernet Medical has teamed up with Fidelity Capital to offer
financing options for purchases of our MedStar monitoring packages
and kiosks.
Additionally, Cybernet Medical is now offering our MedStar
Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system as a standalone service
option, to assist organizations that do not require a complete
system to take advantage of the stimulus package. Company branding
options are also available upon request.

you take advantage of this program, please contact us at:

NEW WEB-BASED GOVERNMENT IT SPENDING TRACKER
On June 28th, Vivek Kundra (Federal CIO) announced a new Web site
designed to track more than $70 billion in government information
technology spending, showing all contracts held by major firms
within every agency.
The revamped site, USAspending.gov, was unveiled at the Personal
Democracy Forum conference on technology and politics. The website
shows detailed information about whether IT contracts are being
monitored and budgets being met.
