MEDSTAR NOW HAS PT/INR MONITORING CAPABILITY

For patients receiving oral anticoagulation therapy (OAT), regular PT/INR testing is crucial to assure safety and manage dosing regimens. For those affected, receiving this treatment means constant trips to the lab for blood work. Because of this, Cybernet Medical is pleased to announce that we now support PT/INR monitoring with the MedStar Monitoring System!

With the MedStar and PT/INR monitoring, your blood work is accessible to your doctor within minutes instead of the days that a normal lab process takes. Our reporting system provides a reliable, standardized means of reporting the state of anticoagulation with minimal variability between different laboratories, regents and testing instrumentation as well.

If you are interested in more information on MedStar's PT/INR monitoring, please contact Cybernet Medical Sales:

WEBSITE UPDATE: NEW REPORT LAYOUTS

We have recently updated the format of the medical website's printable and faxed reports. These new formats allow for more details and trending data inclusion, through the use of graphs and other highlighting.

Administrators now have the ability to change a user's initial default report (TASKS-DEFAULT REPORT LAYOUT) that can then be modified by the user, either at the time of the report via the GENERATE REPORT selections or permanently using the setting in their user preferences.

There are 5 different formats available for you to choose from:

  • One graph with data points per line (INITIAL DEFAULT)
  • Two graphs per line
  • One data reading per line
  • One graph per line
  • One graph per line followed by data points, on per line

If you have any questions about these new report layouts, please contact Cybernet Medical Support:

NATIONAL HEALTH CENTER WEEK KIOSK DEMOS

The week of August 6-12 is National Health Center Week, which focuses the public spotlight on a community-based model of health care that is giving millions of Americans in need the chance for healthy and productive lives. This annual campaign is dedicated to recognizing the service and contributions of Community, Migrant, Homeless and Public Housing Health Centers.

Cybernet Medical's MedStar Kiosk is uniquely suited to such facilities, allowing care centers to take and manage vital signs readings for large numbers of patients, even across multiple facilities. As part of National Health Center Week, Cybernet Medical is offering demos of the MedStar Kiosk to qualified organizations and facilities.

If you represent a facility interested in a MedStar Kiosk demo, please contact Cybernet Medical Sales:
