Since our next newsletter won't reach you until after the holidays, we here at Cybernet Medical would like to wish you a happy Halloween and Thanksgiving in advance. Like many of you, we here at Cybernet Medical will be spending Thanksgiving with our families. Because of this, MedStar Support will be closed on Thursday, November 25th and Friday, November 26th. Online help will continue to be available during this time, and our technical support number will still be accepting support messages... we'll answer any inquiries
as soon as we resume normal support hours on Monday, November 29th.

2. Online Forms

We have recently added a new feature to the Medical Website, Online Forms. These forms can then be answered for or by users to collect additional information and store it in the database. There are 3 kinds of forms: General, Patient General and Procedure Specific.

• General Forms are those designated for all users within the system, including doctors and managers, to allow you to gather information from a wide range of users. General Forms are accessible via the Provider and Manager profile pages.
• General Patient Forms are those that deal with a patient overall, instead of being specific to any ongoing procedures. Examples of this type of form are a patient's medical history, or information on general patient wellness. General Patient Forms are accessible via the Patient Profile page, since they are not specific to any particular procedure being carried out.
• Procedure Specific Forms deal with a specific ongoing procedure, to allow for the retrieval of data specific to procedures that are occurring on a patient. Procedure Specific Forms are accessible via the patient data pages.

To create an Online Form go to the new Online Forms link under the administrator TASKS section. An example is provided in the help section guide you through the creation of a form.

3. Online Protocols

The Online Protocols feature allows for administrators to place documents in the system that can be retrieved by providers and other managers in the system via the new HELP page PROTOCOLS option. Using the administration TASKS page, a manager can add documents to the system that can then be downloaded by other users as needed. This feature can be used to place protocols for handling patient events, for example.
