Cybernet Medical would like to wish you all a Happy New Year! 2005 is going to be a big year with new products available from Cybernet Medical, and we would like to encourage all of you to get involved with our new product process by dropping us a note to let us know what improvements that you'd like to see in the MedStar System.

2. Fax Support Available

We have recently added a new feature to the Medical Website: Fax Support for Notifications. You can configure the system to send you an automatic fax report anytime a patient falls out of compliance, out of limit, or whenever the system generates an automatic report for you. These faxes will include the same information that the current e-mails include, including identification of the system's patient id number that you can then use to determine who the patient is.

This feature needs to be enabled by Cybernet Medical. To enable the fax capability of the system please contact us directly for more details at our 1-800-292-3763 support line, or just e-mail us at:

support @ cybernetmedical.com

To set up Fax Notification you will also need to do the following two things:

1 - Enter a fax number in your profile -- this will be the number that any reports are transmitted to.

2 - Set up the notifications and frequencies that you want reports faxed to you, on your preferences page.

Of course, you may still configure the system to send you the same information via e-mail, as always.

3. Tips and Tricks

Did you know that your patients may access their own data online, empowering them to take a more participatory role in their care and condition? The administrator has the ability to create a patient login and password by clicking on “Enroll Patient” after performing a patient search on the “Caller Search” page.

Although patient access is limited to their own device readings and personal profile, the ability to view this information not only allows your patients to actively monitor their own health management, but also effectively demonstrates the usefulness of the MedStar home healthcare system.
