HAPPY NEW YEAR!

We've got lots of new developments planned for the MedStar System in 2006, but for now we here at Cybernet Medical just want to wish everyone a Happy New Year!

HOLIDAY HOURS

Just a reminder -- but because of the holidays, Cybernet Medical Support is closed until Tuesday, January 3rd. We will resume our normal support schedule on that day.

Online help is still available during this time, and our technical support number is still accepting support messages. Any support messages left over the holidays will be answered as soon as we resume normal support hours on Tuesday, January 3rd.

WEBSITE UPDATES

You may have noticed that we have made a few small changes to the website recently to help improve the usage and out of limit tracking for your patients.

These changes include the addition to the patient profile page of height and waist that will be used in the future for body mass indexing when weight values are present.

The second change to the website is a slight modification to the differential weight limit checking. The advanced features have been removed to help make the system easier to set and maintain while enlarging the period of time that is used to check for the specfic weight differences desired.

Also, a new differential weight setting has been added: the ability to compare the incoming value to the last one received, up to 7 days previous. This will allow for the catching of weight changes from one reading to the next.

This, used in conjunction with weight change over a day or multiple days. can allow you to catch quick daily weight changes that might stabilize themselves over the longer periods of time, or show when the scale is being used improperly.
